    Description

Wiley India Transport Phenomena by Amit Keshav and Bidyut Mazumdar

Product Description Transport phenomena is a subject of key importance and has its roots soiled in the basics of fluid flow, heat transfer, mass transfer, and numerical analysis. Its stems spread to the advanced subjects of modeling simulation and computational fluid dynamics. Developing a model for any physical process on the core areas of fluid Mechanics, heat transfer, and mass transfer is necessary before the model is simulated for large-scale design. This book introduces various methods with examples to develop transport models. This book finds its usefulness in both UG and PG courses in chemical, Mechanical, and Biotechnology engineering. About the Author Amit Keshav is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, since last 11 years. He worked as a lecturer in Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology (JMIT), Radaur, for more than 3 years. He had also worked as the Head of Department, Chemical Engineering, at JMIT Radaur for more than a year. He had set up various labs at both JMIT Radaur and NIT Raipur. Bidyut Mazumdar started his teaching career from Government Engineering College, Ujjain, and is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Raipur, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. He has spent 30 years of teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the area of Chemical Engineering. He has published more than 40 research papers in national/international journals and has attended more than 30 national and international conferences.
