About NCUI The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) is a federation of all cooperatives, including sectoral national Federations, with the goal of advancing and expanding the cooperative movement in India. The primary goal of NCUI is to build and grow the cooperative sector in all facets of the economy by promoting cooperative identity among its members and the general public. The NCUI works with all stakeholders involved to improve and develop the organisational and functional capacity of cooperatives by delivering education and training to members, leaders, and managers. The NCUI coordinates and facilitates the efforts being undertaken by national, international, corporate, and public organisations as well as other key players to realise the Sahkar-se-Samrudhi goal. About NCRC The "National Cooperative Resource Centre" (NCRC) has been promoted by the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), which contains 12 cooperative sectoral verticals, including Multipurpose PACS, Cooperative Banking, Dairy, Fisheries, Sugar, Marketing, Consumer, Labour, Housing, Handloom/Textile, Handicraft, and Health. The NCRC's primary responsibility is to serve as a national resource for all cooperative education and training (CET) institutions. The NCRC offers need-based information and knowledge to improve and build multifaceted capacities of cooperatives so as to develop them as “Competitive Business Enterprises” and “Sustainable Self-Regulatory Institutions." The NCRC's primary goals are to (a) identify the cooperative sector-specific training requirements needed to make the cooperative business unit competitive and sustainable; (b) identify the governance and managerial issues in order to create an effective self-regulatory institution; and (c) explore the opportunities for and difficulties with new cooperative formation and promotion.
