About the Author A.V.S.S. Sambamurty, Senior Reader, Department of Botany, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, has been teaching Genetics and Taxonomy to B.Sc. (Gen.) and B.Sc. (Hons.) students for the past three decades. He is a Fellow of the Genetic Society of India and the Botanical Society of India, besides being a member of several scientific bodies.
