A. LAKSHMINATH is the Vice Chancellor in charge of the Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad. He was Founding Chancellor, Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam, Founding Pro-Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor, Chanakya National Law University, Patna; Registrar, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad: Fulbright Professor, University of Massachusetts: and Salzburg Global Fellow. He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan; he has received the Sir Radhakrishnan Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Alabama and the N. R. Madhava Menon Best Law Teacher Award for SAARC Countries. He has published numerous books and articles, and edited several journals.
S. SIVAKUMAR, a Senior Professor, was a Member of the 21st Law Commission of India (2016-2018). He holds an honorary LL.D. in Law and Mass Communication. He received the National Law Day Award in 2008 and the CLEA Golden Jubilee Global Legal Education Award in 2023. His notable publications include Press Law and Journalists: Watch Dog to Guide Dog. Article 21: Code of Life. Liberty, and Dignity in the Indian Constitution, Law Commission of India on Criminal Justice Reforms, Criminal Justice Administration in Chhattisgarh and Criminal Justice Administration in Kerala. He has always volunteered for social reforms activities and pioneered several research-oriented multidisciplinary programmes for judges, lawyers, journalists and media persons, cyber professionals, farmers, police and others.
KOMANDURI S. MURTY is the Alma Jones Endowment Professor of Social Justice at Fort Valley State University, Georgia. With 25 years as Clark Atlanta University’s criminal justice and sociology professor and chair, he earned the 2005 Aldridge McMillan Outstanding Overall Achievement award. He served as a Visiting Fellow for UNCFSP in 2005 and the UGC Visiting Professor of Criminal Justice at Andhra University in 1996. He has published over a dozen books, and several chapters and articles.
