Reliance Publishing House Facets of Social Outlayers- Festschrift to honour Dr Manu Bhaskar by Dilip K G & Abraham Vijayan
The idea for this Festschrift was originally made at Thiruvananthapuram, in discussion with my peers who shared the same element- all of us were Ph.D. research students under the supervision of Dr. Manu Bhaskar, though at different times. The concern in this endeavour was not only to honour a distinguished Professor of Sociology, but to offer a discerning vista of engagements of an outstanding researcher, a genuine teacher and a natural leader who, undoubtedly has contributed to the direction and content of research and teaching of Sociology in Kerala. This final product is a Festschrift authored by both her beloved students and other scholars who respected and loved her.
