Interest in ethnomedicine is growing globally. It is expected that new ethnopharmacological studies and reviews will further bolster scientific interest in ethnomedicine, leading to an increase in its therapeutic potential in healthcare and medicine. This book presents recent information on ethnomedicinal plants around the world with the aim of revitalizing the traditional knowledge of herbs and their medicinal uses. The editors focus on evaluating the progress to date as well as the future of drug development in ethnomedicine.
