Description
New Age International Private Electromagnetics 2022 by Laud, B.B.
The book is designed to serve as a basic textbook for students of physics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It presents a coherent, comprehensive account of the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory. The primary concern of the book is to enable the student to obtain a satisfactory intuitive grasp of the subject, to make him realise that the subject is relevant and useful and to encourage him to develop some facilities in its use. The book bridges the gap between highly mathematical works and the very elementary introduction of the subject. The fourth edition of this book has been prepared with a few additional features. It includes three new appendices-multiple and submultiple prefixes, three branches of electromagnetics and constitutive parameters of materials, which may be of immense use for the students and teachers. Corrections have been made in about a dozen problems. With these modifications the book will be most useful not only to students of physics, engineering and applied mathematics but also to those working in other allied fields.
