This book discusses the overall topics of Artificial Intelligence. The journey starts from the evolution of Artificial Intelligence to its future enhancements. The development of AI started to create similar intelligence in machines that we find and regard high in humans. Artificial intelligence is a science and technology based on disciplines such as Computer Science, Biology, Psychology, Linguistics, Mathematics, and Engineering. A major thrust of AI is in developing computer functions associated with human intelligence, such as reasoning, learning, and problem-solving.Out of the following areas, one or multiple areas can contribute to building an intelligent system. Intelligence is the computational part of the ability to achieve goals in the world. Varying kinds and degrees of intelligence occur in people, many animals, and some machines. It is the science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to biologically observable methods. After WWII, a number of people independently started to work on intelligent machines. The English mathematician Alan Turing may have been the first. He gave a lecture on it in 1947.In chapter 1, we learned about the evolution of AI. In chapter 2, we discussed problem-solving methods, and search strategies in AI. Knowledge representation and reasoning in artificial intelligence (AI) are dedicated to representing information about the world in a form that a computer system can utilize to solve complex tasks such as diagnosing a medical condition or having a dialog in a natural language chapter 3. Different types of learning are elaborated on in the next chapter. The fifth chapter discussed one of the most important applications of AI, Robotics. We use the English language to communicate between an intelligent system, and NLP Processing of Natural Language plays an important role in various systems. For Example, A robot is used to perform as per your instructions. The input and output of an NLP system can be Speech, Written Text. One can learn more details about NLP in chapter 6. The subset of AI, machine learning, is clearly explained in chapter 7. In further topics, we learn about ethics, legal issues, limitations, and opportunities in the AI field. We discussed future enhancements in each field and applications of AI. The world is transforming with the help of AI. Opportunities are welcoming with their hands opening wide.
